Thirty days away from eviction, unemployed, and down to my last £300, I found myself facing a question that felt impossible to ignore: was this really the future I was working towards?
At 20, I had already stepped away from the traditional path because something inside me knew I wanted more than simply following a script. I wanted freedom, purpose, and a life that felt like my own. The problem was that I had no idea how to create it.
I spent time working in hospitality and retail, searching for direction outside the academic route. What I discovered was that no matter how hardworking or reliable you are, there are often limits on your income, flexibility, and opportunities when following a conventional career path.
Then, at one of the lowest points in my life, an opportunity appeared on my FYP. I almost scrolled past it. Instead, with £300 to my name, I took a chance and invested £156 into the business. Within my first week, I had earned it back.
That single decision became the turning point. Since then, I've connected with and helped many like-minded women who are determined to build lives they truly love. What began as a way to earn an income quickly became something much bigger. I found a community of people building businesses around freedom, flexibility, personal growth, and meaningful experiences.
For the first time, I could see a different future for myself.
Today at 23, I'm continuing my studies while building a business that allows me to help people create unforgettable travel experiences and make memories around the world. But the biggest gift this business gave me wasn't travel. It was belief. Belief that success doesn't have to follow one script. Belief that young women can create opportunities for themselves. Belief that freedom is something you build, one decision at a time.
